Initial CCW Class (8 Hour)

Unlike most CCW courses that require a full 8-hour day, this course is “At Your Own Pace”, meaning you can complete portions of the course and save your progress as you go. Upon purchase, you will have 1 full year of access to the materials, so if you need to refresh on some of the topics, they will be available to you.

You can purchase this course anytime; however, you must begin it after your background approval from the Sheriff’s Office. You must complete the entire course and submit your Certificate of Completion to the Sheriff within 90 days of your background approval.

This course satisfies the 8-hour course requirement for the Kern County Sheriff’s Office CCW Program.
